Story so far
After completing two years of a Bachelor of Journalism I was offered a job with 4BC as a reporter on their Afternoons and Drive Shows. While working with 4BC I was also working as a guest liaison producer and video journalist with Sky News.
I left both 4BC and Sky News in August 2013, when I moved to 612 ABC Brisbane, taking on the role of Breakfast Field Reporter. Working with Spencer Howson and the team at 612 provided invaluable experience in how to cover breaking news as well as community issues.
At the start of 2014 I was asked to move to Adelaide, where I worked with ABC News on their flagship children’s news show Behind the News. In that role I got to educate and entertain kids, providing them with a way of accessing news that no other show gives them.
In June 2014, I accepted a position with Prime7 News in Canberra as a producer and reporter. I’m responsible for all the news coming out of the Gippsland region of Victoria. It’s a challenging job, but highly enjoyable too.
