Fire destroys Yatala factory

Toxic fumes and rubble are all that remains of a factory which went up in smoke overnight on Brisbane’s southern outskirts. Emergency services were called to Yatala where the business was engulfed by flames. Kara Butler reports.

Housing project for Brisbane’s homeless

Chinese coal carrier refloated

The Chinese coal carrier which ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef has been successfully refloated. Maritime authorities pulled off the complex salvage operation without spilling any more oil. Kara Butler reports.
