The Canberra Raiders are making the most of the few days they have left before the grand final match against the Roosters on Sunday and Canberrans turned out in droves for the “Fan Day.”

Raiders fans as far as the eye can see.
Supporters of the NRL grand finalists lined up for hundreds of metres for a spot at today’s training session.
New merchandise and green sausages were on offer and they were being eagerly snapped up, before the team took to the field.
That is, after the Viking Clap war-cries, to get the ‘green machine’ into the Raiders spirit.
The event proved to be a popular school holiday activity for local families.
Raiders co-captain Josh Hodgson was absent from the celebrations he’s recovering from a virus and promises to be in full action for the grand final.
On Sunday, Raiders legend Mal Meninga will blow the traditional Viking Horn for Canberra’s spine-tingling clap before their first grand final appearance in 25 years.
