Fremantle will start the next AFL season with a new coach. While the Raiders starting line-up for the League Grand Final is shaping up.

The Freemantle Dockers have appointed former Collingwood assistant coach Justin Longmuir as their head coach on a three-year deal to replace Ross Lyons.

And the Gold Coast Suns have been given priority in the upcoming AFL draft meaning they will get the first two picks at the opening round in November.

In the NRL, the Raider’s Joey Leilua is expected to play in the grand final game against the Sydney Roosters after doctors deemed him fit for play following a lower leg injury in the semi-final round.
