Undateable. Unemployable. Unstoppable. Meet Muriel.
The cult-classic Australian film, Muriel’s Wedding, will come to life at QPAC over the next six weeks.
After impressing audiences in Sydney and Melbourne, the cast is excited to perform in Brisbane.
Natalie Abbott, Muriel Heslop: “I mean it’s a dream come true this really is an Australian classic and bringing it to the stage just feels so natural.”
Queensland is the musical’s spiritual home with parts of the original movie filmed on the Gold Coast.
So Brisbane audiences may notice a special tribute.
Stefanie Jones, Rhonda Epinstall: “I really don’t think I’m biased I truly believe that the Queensland audiences are always the best.”
