It might not stop you dancing on the table at your work Christmas party, but it could get you through lunch with the in-laws the next day.

Four friends in Brisbane have spent the last three years developing ‘Body Armour’ and they claim it can save you from the dreaded hangover.

Toni McQuinn, Director of Body Armour: “Aside from the massive vitamin and electrolyte hit, our formula consists of four key ingredients, that support cell repair and your body’s ability to break down toxins from your liver and blood stream.”

Drinking this $10 a bottle concoction before a big night is supposedly the secret to waking up feeling fresh.

Toni McQuinn, Director of Body Armour: “So basically by increasing your body’s ability to break down those toxins, you’re also increasing your recovery speed, and in turn providing the hangover relief.”

The friends came up with the secret formula after personal experience.

Toni McQuinn, Director of Body Armour: “In Vegas, funny enough, celebrating my 30th birthday, and having way too much of a good time, I came across a similar concept – a drink that you have before consuming alcohol – which consisted of ingredients that focus purely on liver support.”

Drinkers will know whether it works, one way or the other, in the coming weeks.

With more than 60 venues already signed up to sell Body Armour, the first batch of 10,000 bottles will hit shelves in a fortnight.
