Australia’s most successful home grown musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, is about to rock Brisbane for the very first time.

TRANSCRIPT

Priscilla has more glitter than ever, with over 500 costumes, 200 headdresses and a non-stop parade of dancefloor classics.

And audiences love it.

Tony Sheldon, as Bernadette: “From those opening chords of “I Love the Nightlife,’ right through to the end when pandemonium breaks out, they just adore this show, and I think this particular run has been the strongest reaction I’ve ever known.”

Priscilla tells a hilarious story of three friends who hop aboard a battered, old bus bound for Alice Springs.

Their epic journey of self-discovery, sassiness and acceptance has won international awards from Hollywood to Broadway, Europe and Asia.

David Spencer, Resident Director: “Priscilla is a show that’s without doubt a feel-good one. There’s such a great and unexpected heart to the story. It’s more than the costumes and the songs.”

And this month, Simon Phillips’ spectacular production, Priscila Queen of the Desert, will have its very own premiere, right here, in the heart of Brisbane as part of its 10th birthday celebrations.

So strap yourselves in for a lavish, high-camp roadtrip of a lifetime.

Tickets are now on sale, so get in quick.
