As football clubs ramp up their preps for this year’s grand finals. NRL star player Sam Burgess has broken his his silence about the lewd sexting allegations engulfing the Rabbitohs club. Telling a press conference the scandal had hurt his family.

Burgess looked serious as he fronted the media.
He would not be drawn on details of the official enquiry. He said his biggest concern was protecting his family.
Sam Burgess, Rabbitohs: “I’ve got a wife and I’ve got a daughter. My wife’s heavily pregnant so I just want them to be safe and happy.
The Rabbitohs come up against the Roosters in the preliminary NRL finals and the Storm meets the Sharks.
In the AFL, the Richmond Tigers are certain that Dustin Martin will play in this Friday’s MCG final against Collingwood.
In the other preliminary final West Coast clashes against the Demons at Optus Stadium on Saturday.
