The Cats meet the Crows tonight in the first AFL preliminary final.

But the big interest is Saturday’s match.

If Richmond take that win, they’ll make their first grand final appearance in 35 years.

More than 5,000 fans rocked up to Tigerland for Richmond’s last training session Friday morning.

Tomorrow, 95,000 Tiger supporters will cheer them on at the MCG, attempting to break the record for the “loudest” club at a sporting event.

None of these players have ever competed in a Grand Final.

To get they there, they have to beat GWS.

But the Tigers will be on home territory and the crowd favourites.

Tonight, the Crows take on the Cats, at Adelaide Oval.

It’s going to be hot action and not just on the grounds.

The mercury will hover around 29 degrees.

In a couple of late swaps for Geelong, James Parsons & Zach Guthrie are both out.

This morning the Cats looked pretty relaxed at the team hotel.

But Adelaide are clear cut favourites.
