North Queensland’s backrower suffered the season-ending spinal injury in the first qualifying final.

Cowboy’s Coach Paul Green lodged an official complaint … But the NRL today said no further action would be taken.

Two other Cowboys’ players also suffered minor neck injuries, yet no Melbourne Storm players have been punished.

Ethan Lowe, Cowboys Player: “Nah I’m not going to get into that. It was just a tackle. I’m not really gonna lay blame.”

Both teams are a win away from what’s shaping to be a tense grand final showdown.

The Cowboys are set to play the Sharks this Friday night, and the Storm host the Raiders on Saturday.
