The longest rivalry in AFL’s history is on once again this weekend with Carlton taking on Collingwood. And in NRL, the Australian squad is gearing up for a great clash with the Kiwis.

The great rivalry, Carlton versus Collingwood.
It’s always a grand occasion whenever these two once-mighty clubs meet.
But the clash has taken on a new significance this time round, as the winner goes a game clear of the loser.
Nathan Buckley, Collingwood Coach: “The shopfront of what we’re doing at the moment hasn’t looked as good as we would like it too.”
Brendon Bolton, Carlton Coach: “We’re under no illusions, we got a lot of work to do and the last few rounds have been a few steps in the right direction.”
The NRL is gearing up for the first international of 2016, Australia versing New Zealand in a Trans-Tasman test on Friday night.
Mal Meninga, Australian Coach: “It’s all about us and how we prepare and what our attitude is gonna be like.”
The match will be Meninga’s first time in charge of the Kangaroos.
