The excitement of finals football, drew hundreds of fans to a Broncos training session at Red Hill today.

The Broncs are confident they’ll reach the grand final but first they have to beat the highly-rated Roosters at Suncorp this Friday and the club has a special air-borne weapon.

Broncos fans were happy to sit in the sun for hours to see their heroes train and watch the club’s drones monitoring their moves.

The training session was open to the public and proved popular.

The Broncos face the Roosters on Friday night in front of a what will be a packed Suncorp Stadium.

Play maker Ben Hunt isn’t underestimating the minor premiers.

Ben Hunt, Broncos Player: “Yeah excited to play the Roosters, I believe they’re the benchmark of the competition. They’ve shown that all year I think, we’ve had a couple of great games, we’ve gone one each way. I’m really looking forward to getting into it this week.”

It’ll be Captain Justin Hodges last run onto his home ground.

Justin Hodges, Broncos Captain: “So for me, it’s a massive game and look it’s going to be sad once the 80 minutes is done but if we win or lose, I’ve really enjoyed my time and can’t wait to run out to Suncorp one last time.”

The skipper is determined to stay focused in what he’s expecting will be a fast, tough game

Hodges promised not to let the emotion of his last game at Suncorp Stadium affect his performance. His eyes remain firmly on this Friday nights game.

The Broncos are chasing their seventh premiership under coach Wayne Bennett.
