Melbourne Victory’s 3-0 win over Sydney in the A-League Grand Final might have been anti-climactic, but the post-game presentation was far from that.

The Football Federation chairman fell down and broke his crown, but thankfully the rest didn’t come tumbling after.

These were the dramatic scenes from last night’s post match trophy presentation, 84-year-old Frank Lowy falling from the podium.

Thankfully, the Westfield founder is only nursing a sore shoulder, doctors clearing him of serious injury.

The Grand Final itself failed to live up to pre-game hype, the home side schooling Sydney F.C, giving the sky blues their first away loss of the year.

Former Brisbane Roar strike-man Besart Berisha fired the first shot of the night in the 33rd minute.

The grand final glory gives Melbourne Victory their third premiership, equaling Brisbane’s record.
