Shock-jock Kyle Sandilands and Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce go head to head on Sydney radio over film star Johnny Depp and his pampered dogs.

Kyle Sandilands, KIIS 1065: “You sound like an absolute clown telling the guy to bugger off back to Hollywood or we’ll kill his dogs.”

Depp brought his two Yorkshire Terriers into Australia without permission on a private jet when he returned to film a Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.

The animals didn’t go through quarantine, raising fears of disease.

Yesterday Barnaby Joyce warned Depp to take his pets, Boo and Pistol, back to California or they could be put down.

Sandilands was not impressed.

Kyle Sandilands, KIIS 1065: “You sound like an idiot. You should have reworded your statement. Sound like a classy guy. You’re a government minister, not some idiot off the street mouthing off to a news camera. Have some decency.”

Barnaby Joyce, Agriculture Minister: “Geez Kyle, that sounds interesting coming from you mate. You’re the-”

Kyle Sandilands, KIIS 1065: “Oh shut up Barnaby, you’re a **** no but you’re an absolute joke, Barnaby.”

There are reports Boo and Pistol will be leaving tonight, but they may face problems with US quarantine laws too.
