The headlines… the southeast corner of Queensland has taken a battering from the weather during the day, and it’s only expected to get worse during the evening.

One of the world’s most prestigious science festivals is coming to Brisbane.

The rugby league clash between Australian and New Zealand at Suncorp Stadium was postponed at the last minute because of the wild weather, but earlier in the day both teams were preparing hard for the game which will now be played on Sunday.
