Several others were treated by paramedics at the scene.

Emma Duffy reports.

It was all hands on deck soon after eight this morning.

The giant Ocean Drover moored at Fremantle Port was ablaze.

It took nine crews to bring the fire which started in the living quarters under control.

The 45 crew had to be evacuated, all were accounted for.

One crew member remains in hospital suffering smoke inhalation and minor burns.

Residents living north-east of the Harbour were asked to remain indoors due to fumes from the fire.

The nine-deck vessel is capable of transporting up to eighteen-thousand cattle and seventy five thousand sheep.

Fortunately no animals were on board when the fire broke out.
