One man is dead and two are in a serious but stable condition after suffering stabs wounds in Sydney’s Liverpool.
Police were also involved in a car chase through Western Sydney.

Sydney’s largest hospital was sent into lockdown overnight when three men with stab wounds presented themselves.
The men entered Liverpool Hospital around 9.30PM after altercations in Sydney’s West.
One of the men, a 24-year-old from Macquarie Fields later died.
The others, aged 25 and 30, suffered injuries to the upper-halves of their bodies.
Jalia Assaf was in the hospital at the time.
Jalia Assaf, Witness: “Men and women just screaming, carrying on, then there was police everywhere and we were told there was a lockdown.”
Police say they’re waiting to speak to the survivors.
All men were known to them but police are yet to determine whether the injuries were linked.
Meanwhile, police were involved in a car chase through Western Sydney’s St Clair this morning.
The chase ended when a white sedan crashed into a parked truck.
The force of the crash ejecting the car’s engine from the bonnet and throwing it on the windscreen of a parked vehicle.
The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt.
