Three thousand passionate “brown and gold” fans crowded into Waverley Park this morning.

Fans of all ages had no doubt, their beloved Hawks would bring home the ultimate trophy.

Vox 1: “Absolutely out of this world, it will be the best ever feeling, just euphoria. Can they pull it off? Yeah, sure they can. It will be a team effort and they’ll win. I’ve been supporting them all my life. Go Hawks!”

All eyes were on Cyril Rioli, who’s still not a confirmed line-up for Saturday’s match.

Since returning from a hamstring injury, he’s struggled to prove his fitness.

Meanwhile, the Swans had a light training session at the SCG before flying to Melbourne this afternoon.

Jarrad McVeigh, Sydney Swans Co-Captain: “We know it goes up another level, we have to get better to win this game. But our preparation has been great and the players are in great condition and we’ve been ready.”

Young Sam Reid has passed his final fitness test so will join the team when they run on field for the final decider.
