It’s now down to crunch time for AFL Grand finalists, Hawthorn and the Swans.

This Saturday’s match will see Sydney’s superstar Lance Franklin play against his former side – and last year’s premiers.

Last weekend’s clash against Port Adelaide was a thrilling match that epitomises finals football.

The score was close, the atmosphere was electric, and the tensions high.

Despite being strong early on, Port couldn’t get past the Hawks who managed to hang on 97 to 94.

The Hawks are now looking forward to coming up against former team mate Lance Franklin.

Josh Gibson, Hawks Defender: “He’s a fantastic forward, but nah Bud will be pumping himself up to play the Hawks.”

Star Hawks player Cyril Rioli will face a nervous wait this week, hoping to slot into the team after a three month-long hamstring injury left him sidelined.

Jordan Lewis may also have to deal with the reality of not playing in the Grand Final due to a knee injury in the third quarter.

With Buddy Franklin on board the Swan’s are looking well beyond this weekend’s Grand Final.

Josh Kennedy, Sydney Swans: “We’re all kind of sitting there going geez can we sign him on for another five years.”

The last time these two sides met in a Grand Final was in 2012 and Sydney came out on top.

The Hawks will be looking for their second-straight premiership after downing Fremantle last year.
