The $400 million redevelopments have seen the shopping centre expand by almost half its size with an additional 1,470 car parking spaces.
Centre Management says the aesthetic design in the new Town Square will be a hit with patrons.
Stuart Elder, Centre Manager: “It feels like a resort. The fact we’ve got water, we’ve got great restaurants, we’ve got palm trees. You see the weather today, it’s a beautiful environment to come for lunch or dinner and I think it’ll really extend our trading hours in this precinct.”
The centre is celebrating the redevelopment over the next three weekends with Boost’s Bike n Blend, face-painting and live music and performances.
Shoppers have welcomed the new look.
VOX 1: “I think it’s amazing, I’m very excited to see all the new stores opening.”
VOX 2: “I think it’s very nice. I like it.”
VOX 3: “I’m impressed, very impressed so far. The quality of the building etc. is very good and when it’s full it’ll be champion.”
