This is the collision which could also see Viney sidelined for weeks.
He was referred straight to the tribunal, by the match review panel.
Wayne Carey says the bump, although unintentional, could result in a tough penalty for the second-year Demon.
Wayne Carey, AFL Legend: “He hasn’t gone in there trying to hit him in the head. But the fact that he has and the result is a broken jaw. He is in some real trouble.”
And Tigers’ star Brett Deledio is challenging a one-match ban for striking, following his scuffle with Cats’ player Matthew Stokes.
Sydney Swans star recruit Lance Buddy Franklin will again have all eyes on him as speculation arises over whether he will play in Friday’s blockbuster against his old team Hawthorn.
Franklin injured his knee two weeks ago.
Hawthorne Coach Alastair Clarkson says he doesn’t expect to see Franklin on the field.
