A 21-year-old man was charged with dangerous driving and a police officer has been injured after a high speed chase.
Just after 9pm, an allegedly stolen car sped away from police on the Sunshine Coast and headed south.

The chase continued for two hours, ending at Kallangur, when the stolen vehicle rammed the side of a paddy wagon.
The van rolled on its roof and careered down the road before coming to a stop.
One officer sustained minor injuries.
Police say it was a close call.
Acting Inspector Andrew Dupre, Qld Police: “Very fortunate tonight the police officer hasn’t lost his life. This could have quite easily been a fatality.”
Meanwhile, police in Sydney are waiting for forensic tests on a car before they lay charges over a hit-and-run death.
Skateboarder Christopher Rhodes was found unconscious on Bronte Road last Wednesday morning.
He died in hospital yesterday after life support was turned off.
And a young man is dead after a coward punch attack in western Sydney on the weekend.
The 21-year-old was was hit in the face outside a party at Minchinbury.
The accused attacker was refused bail and will face court Wednesday.
