The Suns are a force to be reckoned with, after a stunning 43 point win over North Melbourne.

Skipper Gary Ablett showing his Brownlow status, with three goals in the final quarter.

Brad Scott, Kangaroos Coach: “Oh it’s very disappointing obviously, there’s no other way to assess it.”

An undermanned Carlton side is licking its wounds after a 34 point blow from the Pies.

Dale Thomas’ first game against his former club was less than spectacular.

Dale Thomas, Carlton Blues: “I thought I did a pretty good job of that, obviously not a good enough job because we lost and I stunk.”

At the MCG, Hawthorn posted a record 145-point victory over St Kilda.

The win marred by injury, Sam Mitchell with a hamstring strain and Brian Lake a calf injury.

So here’s the table.

At the end of round seven, Hawthorn has swapped places with Port at the top of the ladder.

The Suns charge puts them just outside the top four.

But Brisbane remains at the bottom after Saturday’s 79 point loss to the Swans.
