Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley says Marley Williams is set to play in tonight’s clash with Carlton at the MCG despite his limited preparation.

Williams is a surprise inclusion, less than two weeks after he received a 12 month suspended sentence for breaking a man’s jaw.

He comes into the side, after fellow defender Alex Fasolo was ruled out through injury.

Dale Thomas, will face his old team the Magpies for the first time since signing with Carlton.

But Carlton coach Mick Malthouse says the media-induced pressure will not affect the game.

Mick Malthouse, Carlton Coach: “Don’t try to make it that it’s our number one fundamental issue, because it’s far from that, far from that. In fact it’s hardly a blip on the radar.”

And the Sydney Swans are still the favourite to beat Brisbane Lions even without Lance Franklin, who’ll be resting a knee injury.
