The Hawks have had their final training session before Saturday’s AFL Grand Final.

While the Fremantle Dockers fly into Melbourne tonight.

But this morning, the spotlight belonged to passionate fans from both teams.

The final countdown is on.

Wet and windy weather at Waverly Park didn’t deter Hawthorn fans. Almost 5,0000 turned out for the Hawks’ last training session.

Fans were able to have a kick before the team took to the field.

Legendary Hawks’ coach John Kennedy says he doesn’t care what the margin is, He just wants a win.

John Kennedy, Hawks’ Legend: “One point’ll do. That’ll do. As long as it’s one point. As long as we’re in front.”

Around 15,000 Fremantle supporters will make the journey from Perth by Saturday.

Among those, a group of travellers who arrived today after a three-day road trip on a bright purple bus with ‘Freo’ plastered down the sides.
