The team song blared as the Dockers walked out onto the oval, greeted with a rock star welcome from a sea of purple fans.

Supporters began the ‘Freo’ chant as the players completed their warm up.

It was the last opportunity for some supporters to watch the Dockers live for the year, after many missed out on tickets to the dream decider against Hawthorn.

Fremantle Fans: “You be ready on Saturday. We’re here; the real deal. We’ll see you MCG. You and the bad guys. And be worried Hawthorn fans because we’re coming to get you.”

It’s the debut Grand Final appearance for the Dockers. Fans believe their team can go all the way.

Fremantle Fan: “Hawthorn are a great team; they’ve been the best home and away side all season but we can do it. Anywhere, anytime. Go Freo!”

The crowd was entertained by Eskimo Joe and the Scotch College pipe band.
