Fans hoping to attend the AFL grand final could be disappointed.

There were no sales left for the general public this morning, after MCC and competing club members got first dibs.

They’re the hottest tickets outside One Direction and seats at the Hawthorn-Fremantle Grand Final walked out the door.

Just not to members of the public.

The big question today though?

Who will win the Brownlow Medal? The last votes were taken away under guard this morning.

Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett is the hot favourite to pick up his second Brownlow.

But Hawthorn player Sam Mitchell’s odds have increased over the weekend and is in with a good chance.

After the AFL’s night of nights the focus will shift to Saturday where both teams will be expecting a tough game.

Coach Ross Lyon says the Dockers are up for the challange.

Ross Lyon, Fremantle Coach: “We have an exciting week cut out for Fremantle Football Club. We’re under no illusions that Hawthorn felt the bill of disapointment last year and will be hungry for it.”

Unlike Hawthorn, Fremantle has fortunately suffered no injuries in the weekends 25 point win against the Sydney Swans.

Hawthorn fans are eagerly awaiting to see who’ll replace Brendan Whitecross.

He ruptured his anterior cruciate in Friday night’s Preliminary final win over Geelong.
