An exciting week two of the AFL Finals over the weekend, and there’s still another two more to go.

Geelong dominated the field to secure second place on the ladder, and Carlton took a massive blow from the Sydney Swans.

In front of a crowd of 52,744 at the MCG, Port Adelaide surprised Geelong by half time with a 23 point lead.

But Geelong tightened their game in the third term, kicking five goals giving them a seven point lead.

Geelong jumped forward to a 23 goal lead in the final term with a great goal by Selwood.

The Cats finally defeated Port, 96 to 80.

They now advance to the preliminary finals against Hawthorne.

The Sydney Swans shattered Carlton at ANZ stadium on Saturday, winning 86 to 62.

Sydney led by a goal at quarter time and continued their win into the second term kicking five six-pointers.

The Blues couldn’t keep up and didn’t manage to score a single point in the third term. Sydney continued to dominate with a 54 point win.

The Swans will take on Freemantal next week in the preliminary finals.
