Police believe the woman, in her 20s, was attacked while on her way to work at a local McDonald’s.

When she didn’t arrive for her shift her husband and friends frantically searched for her, throughout the night.

This morning, the woman’s naked, bloodied body was found in the front yard of a house in Logan Central.

A passerby who discovered the woman says part of her uniform was found on the other side of the road along with her belongings.

Robert Mills, Resident: “I didn’t know what to do, I knocked on their door and yeah they were freaking out. All they could do was, I yelled out ‘grab a blanket and put it over her’ cause there was some school kids coming past.”

Ian Twist, Resident: “Yeah we seen the body, we were waiting there for the police to come. They just covered it up. It wasn’t a pretty sight.”

McDonald’s says they are shocked and saddened about the death of the worker.

As a mark of respect, the local store today lowered their flags to half mast.

Logan Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity between 8 last night and 7 this morning.
