The Melbourne Storm are tipped to win the premiership but the Doggies will have the home crowd advantage.

The Storm has had a few setbacks with Billy Slater being quarantined due to a bad case of the flu, but it’s believed he will play on Sunday.

Storm fans are likely to be outnumbered by seven to one at ANZ Stadium.

Cameron Smith, Melbourne Storm Captain: “It can be a very hostile environment and, you know, it takes a bit of character to get past that and then worry about your own game and not to worry about what’s happening in the crowd or what they’re yelling out from the stands.”

Meanwhile, the Doggies had a good sleep-in this morning after weeks of arduous training.

Both teams will have a training session tomorrow at the stadium before the Grand Final kickoff on Sunday afternoon.
