The Swans will take on Collingwood at ANZ Stadium in Sydney tonight for the preliminary final.
Collingwood players arrived in Sydney yesterday, after attending team mate John McCarthy’s funeral in Melbourne.
The team has had some injury concerns with Alan Didak being replaced with Ben Sinclair.
On Saturday night, crowd favourites Hawthorne will be up against the Crows.
Hawthorne had their final training run this morning in preparation for their clash against Adelaide at the MCG.
Alastair Clarkson, Hawthorne coach: “We’ve been really pleased with our preparations and that’s all we can control.”
In NRL, Tim Sheens is still the coach of West Tigers, after facing the board’s review yesterday.
Sheens, who lead the team to a Grand final victory in 2005, will remain under review in the coming weeks.
Fierce rivals, Melbourne Storm and the Manly Sea Eagles, will play for the grand final position at AAMI Park in Melbourne tonight.
Tomorrow, sentimental favourites, the Rabbitohs, will play for their first grand final in 41 years at ANZ Stadium against the Bulldogs.
