The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down briefly in Brisbane today, on their way home from a royal tour of the Asia Pacific.
Eager crowds lined the windows in the airport terminal hoping to get a glimpse of the couple.

The Royal couple flew into Brisbane just before midday today.
Excited fans waited with a gathered media pack to catch a glimpse of the royals.
The wind played havoc with the Duchess’s dress as the royal couple met dignitaries on the tarmac of the International Airport.
They waved to crowds before being whisked away by security.
Onlookers were delighted with their brief encounter.
Vox 1: “It was amazing, totally unexpected, it was a great surprise. They’re a beautiful couple.”
Vox 2: “It was absolutely lovely, they seemed gorgeous, she’s very stylish, Kate, and just lovely, obviously, gave great waves. So nice to see them.”
Brisbane was the final port of call on their South Pacific tour, earlier the royal couple had visited Tuvalu – where they showed off some of their dance moves with the locals.
The royal couple didn’t leave the terminal during their fleeting touch down in Brisbane today. THey now head back to the UK having finished their 9 day tour.
Fans will get another royal opportunity when Charles and Camilla visit Australia in November also part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
