Australia’s own star couple, cricket captain Michael Clarke and Kyly Boldy, have released stunning photos of their secret wedding ceremony.

They tweeted the news 24 hours after the event.

The couple began dating 18 months ago. They tied the knot on Tuesday at the Emirates-owned six-star Wolgan Valley Resort in the Blue Mountains.

The exclusive retreat charges more than $1500 a night for a suite. The couple booked out the entire resort for four days.

Yesterday Clarke tweeted his joy, saying he’s the happiest guy in the world.

Minutes later, Boldy tweeted that she’s the luckiest woman in the world and so proud to be Clarke’s wife.

Boldy co-designed her stunning white and silver dress with designer Alex Perry. Clarke wore Louis Vuitton.

Clarke has credited Boldy as a grounding influence in his life.

Now she’s his partner in love.
