All eyes will be on Ethiad Stadium tonight when the Magpies will welcome back star duo, Heath Shaw and Ben Reid for their clash against the Western Bulldogs.
With a win, last year’s Grans Finalists will push into the top eight.
Meanwhile, in the NRL round nine gets underway tonight with arch rivals, the Eels and Bulldogs and it promises to be a heated clash.
There’s mounting pressure on both teams, another loss for the Eels would be their worst start to the season in 52 years.
And after a thrilling Anzac Day win, the Dragons are back to tackle the Cowboys but they’re not happy.
Suggestions that their Anzac Day win was a fluke has not sat well with the team.
Dean YOUNG, Dragons Forward: “You know they say that they play better than us but they scored two tries from kicks and one which is pure ass which went through the hands of Mitchell Pierce and onto Anasta.”
And across the ditch in Auckland the Queensland Reds will have their work cut out for them against the Crusaders and a home town crowd.
