The 14-year-old Australian boy arrested for allegedly buying a small amount of marijuana in Bali, has appeared in court for the first time.
The teenager was masked as he was ushered into the Denpasar District Court this morning.

The Australian teenager, wearing a balacava and traditional Indonesian clothes, was bundled into the Denparsar district court, flanked by bodyguards.
The 14-year-old from Morisset Park near Newcastle in New South Wales, was arrested in Kuta on October 4th.
He was allegedly found with 3.6 grams of marijuana in his possession.
The teenager is facing three drug charges.
The most serious charge carries a maximum six year prison sentence.
The teen’s lawyers are hoping he’ll escape a criminal conviction and custodial sentence and instead be ordered to undergo rehabilitation.
The trial is closed to media and is expected to last for at least two weeks.
