An urgent alert has been issued by Queensland police for a five-year-old girl who is missing and believed  abducted, after two bodies were found in a unit on the Gold Coast.

There were signs of a struggle within the residence where an unidentified male and female were found by a relative early this morning.

Police hold grave fears for Kayla Rogers who was last seen at a home on Arbour Avenue, Robina.  They are seeking help from anyone who may have details about her disappearance.

Police are looking for a 2006 silver Holden Viva station wagon with Queensland registration 965 JFC, believed to be driven by a man. The car is thought to be in the northern NSW area, near Casino or Kyogle.

Earlier reports suggested that there may be more than one child missing. It is now confirmed that Kayla is the only child feared in danger.
