A very relaxed Titans outfit wrapped up their final preparations with a swim at Kurrawa beach this morning.
Boasting the likes of Captain Scott Prince and veteran front rower, Luke Bailey, the Titans are treating the match as if it were any other.
Luke Bailey, Titans Front-Rower: “Relax, kick back, and go and have some fun tonight.”
John Cartwright’s men were tight-lipped about what to expect on the field tonight but say they’re more than ready to face the Roosters.
And there were no signs of nerves among the experienced side.
Preston Campbell, Titans Fullback: “Looking forward to a really big crowd out there tonight and hopefully a really good game.”
The Titans are hoping to bury the pain of consecutive losses in last year’s final series in front of a capacity crowd.
Suncorp stadium may be quiet just now but in just a few hours the stadium will erupt with the cheers of more then 45,000 Queenslanders hoping to push the blue and gold over the line and into their first grand final.
But first, they must get past a fearless young Roosters team, who are hoping to continue their fairytale Premiership run.
Explosive halves combination Todd Carney and Mitchell Pearce will be looking to expose the weaknesses of their more experienced opponents and show off their typical speed and agility.
