In their only open training session before the big day, the Saints welcomed thousands of fans into their old home ground at Moorabbin.
Spirits high and voices strong, the dedicated supporters are positive the boys can bring home the trophy – even if they are the clear underdogs.
Vox 1: “How do I feel about Saturday? Same as I did last year. Very optimistic. Ready to rock and roll.”
Their 24 point victory over the Bulldogs left the Saints with some worrying injury concerns but injured midfielder Dal Santo says he’s a definite starter.
The grand final excitement has been temporarily overshadowed by tonight’s Brownlow Medal announcement with Collingwood’s Dane Swan tipped to take out the award.
