The Lions victory streak was broken on the weekend, and they know Sydney is tough.

Jonathan Brown, Lions’ Captain: “It’s going to be real challenging for us. Very rarely do you come up against a side with three genuine key forwards. it’s going to be a challenge for our defenders and our whole team to not allow them too much room to work in.”

For Bradshaw, it’s the first time he’s up against his former team-mates.

The Swans full forward says the controversy surrounding his departure, and replacement with Brendan Fevola is all water under the bridge.

Brown agrees.

Jonathan Brown, Lions’ Captain: “We’ve been great team mates and great mates over the years so it was sad to see him go. I’m glad he’s playing good footy, just hopefully with a night off on Saturday night.”

Speculation over a groin injury has been following Brown since last weeks loss to Melbourne. But, he’s not making excuses.

Jonathon Brown, Lions’ captain: “I’m alright. Sometimes you roll the dice. I didn’t have a great week last week and I’ve been a little bit sore around the stomach I suppose, and I just had to battle through the game.”

Both the Lions and the Swans have lost one game this season and are chasing a win to stay in the top five.
