Simply the best, the Broncos brought the goods we knew they had.

Putting the game into full throttle the Brisbane team slashed the Sharks in the first half, racing to a thirty-two nil lead.

Israel Falou returned from injury to score two tries.

But not everyone came out unscathed half-back Peter Wallace will be off for at least a month with a knee injury.

While Captain Darren Lockyer received an elbow to the throat leaving him temporarily voiceless.

Other Queensland teams weren’t as lucky on the score board.

The Cowboys had an eighteen to thirty-six loss to the Knights in Newcastle, kicker John Williams giving the team a push with one try and three conversions.

There was misery for the Titans – St George beating them nineteen to six.

Michael Henderson scored the Gold Coast’s only try.

The loss has put the Titans out of the top four.
