An eleventh hour vigil in Brisbane this morning, for two Australian drug smugglers on death row in Indonesia. The group remain hopeful Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran will be spared. ​

The Billy Gordon scandal continues to dominate state politics. Today, the LNP came under fire for releasing confidential documents about the MP’s children. ​

A 10-year-old boy and his mother have hand-delivered a petition signed by 120-thousand people urging the Immigration Minister to stop their deportation.

And the Australian Rugby League Commission has finalised the team for Friday’s Anzac Test match against New Zealand. Four new faces have been injected into the squad. Cameron Smith returns to lead his 20thKangaroos test. ​
