NAPLAN ban lifted

The Australian Education Union has lifted its boycott of the NAPLAN tests after reaching an agreement with Federal Education Minister Julia Gillard.

The decision comes just in time with the national literacy and numeracy tests being held next week.

New clinic tackles rare disorder

Queensland is paving the way for clinical care and research into a rare, inherited disorder called Friedreich’s Ataxia.

A clinic was opened today at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, offering world best care for patients suffering from this disease.

New study on early education
